Watch D.O.G.S. Program
Calling all Dads, Uncles, Grandpas, Brothers, and male role Models! You are Needed at BCS!
We have joined the national organizations of Watch DOGS. Watch DOGS stands for Dads Of Great Students. Dads do many jobs while here at BCS. They greet children in the parking lots, make sure that the gates get locked and that visitors are checked in at the office.
Watch DOGS dads help with playground supervision, unload our weekly supply orders, help in the classrooms, and help with our maintenance department. We even had one dad help clean the school gutters! What a huge blessing!
This has been a great program for BCS as well as our dads. Not only do they get to see what goes on at school during the day, but our students get to learn more about the dads. Watch DOGS dads get to share with the students all about what jobs they have, what skills they needed to learn in school, and support the kids during class and recess time. This is a benefit for all involved. Having these male role models on campus will also help with the overall climate of the school.
The Watch DOGS Program is open to any and all who would like to get involved. You are welcome to stop by the Preschool / Elementary office to sign up for a day that will work for you. Once you are signed up, all you have to do is show up on your scheduled day and BCS will provide you with your Watch DOGS uniform t-shirt. You will change into your uniform t-shirt and follow your personalized schedule for the day. It’s that easy.
We look forward to meeting all the Watch DOGS that have already signed up to be here and hope that if you have not chosen a day to come that you do so quickly. You won’t want to miss out on this amazing opportunity. Look for the Watch DOGS on campus. They will be wearing a white T-shirt with a dog on the front!
If you have any questions or would like to sign up, please contact Jennie Dressler, our Elementary School Vice Principal and interim BCS Administrator using the contact information found on the right side of this page.
