Our goal is to provide a safe and structured atmosphere where young people can develop in their friendships and enjoy multiple indoor and outdoor activities while under the supervision of loving and caring daycare teachers. It is our desire to offer a nurturing, Christ-centered environment for learning and spiritual growth during our before and after school programs.
Before school and after school daycare is available from 6:30 am – 6:00 pm for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade students. We will not be providing daycare for students in 9th-12th grade this year. You must be signed up for daycare on your enrollment contract to attend daycare, as we will not have the flexibility to accept drop-ins. If you wish to make a change to your enrollment contract and would like to add/drop daycare, please contact your campus secretary.
Morning daycare is required for:
- TK, Kindergarten (K), & 1-5thgrade students arriving before 8:00 am
- 6th-8thgrade students arriving before 7:30 am
Afternoon daycare is required for:
- TK, Extended Kindergarten and 1st-5thgrade students on campus after 3:15 pm
- 6th-8thgrade students on campus after 3:30 pm every day except Thursdays
- THURSDAY’s ONLY: 6th-8thgrade students on campus after 3:00 pm
45 minutes of mandatory homework time will be provided for 1st– 8th grade students during the after school daycare program. Usually, homework time will be from 4:00pm – 4:45pm. The students are responsible for bringing their homework to daycare. Students who do not bring their homework will be given academic enrichment materials to work on during homework time, but it will not be their individual class assignments.
Daycare club placement is subject to change. A notice will be sent out to parents for any permanent schedule changes. Weather conditions and school activities may also temporarily affect the schedule. Please look for signs posted by gates noting any changes.
It is the desire of the daycare staff to compliment the heart of the school day and use all opportunities and experiences of the students in the before and after school program to grow in the knowledge of Jesus and flourish in their relationship with him.
Daycare is a service to our parents and is available during much of the year but does observe some holidays. Please refer to our school calendar for days that daycare is not in session.
For families that need care for their children over the summer, BCS offers an engaging and fun Summer Camp program. Please visit the Summer Camp home page.
