History
I am the vine, you are the branches; If you remain in Me, and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me, you can do nothing.
John 15:5
Celebrating 30 Years! (1993-2023)
Bradshaw Christian School is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian school. It was founded by individuals committed to the Christian faith and seeking its furtherance through the education of young people.
Established on 12 acres in a rural, once sparsely populated country setting, BCS began in July 1993 with three students and two teachers in the building that now serves as the preschool office. As a former ranch, the first students were surrounded by horse corrals and a barn accompanied by various farm animals.
Over the years, the school grew by adding one grade every year and the buildings necessary to serve the expansion. With a current enrollment of over 1200 students, BCS has grown to be a well-respected preschool through high school serving the greater Sacramento area. Its rapid growth can be attributed to the tremendous expansion experienced in the Elk Grove/Laguna area, its reputation, and God’s unfailing faithfulness. BCS has also expanded its campus to include a high school, sports fields, with a total of 50 beautiful country acres near the corner of Bradshaw and Calvine Roads in the southeast corner of Sacramento County.
Though a relatively new school to the Sacramento region, BCS has established itself as a respected school with a strong emphasis on academics and character development. The school is accredited with the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
