    We are thrilled to introduce an exciting new tradition at Bradshaw Elementary—Bradshaw Buddies!

    This special program is designed to bring our school family together by pairing older and younger students in mentor groups that will meet once each month throughout the school year. Our goal is to create meaningful friendships while intentionally growing Christ-centered character in every student.

    Our older students will have the opportunity to become role models by encouraging, supporting, and leading younger classmates. During each Buddy meeting, mentors will:

    • Pray for their Buddy group.
    • Welcome and encourage younger students.
    • Participate in discussions and activities.
    • Help everyone feel included.
    • Model kindness, respect, and Christ-like leadership.

    Our younger students will benefit from having caring older friends who help them feel connected, confident, and excited to be part of the Bradshaw community. Through games, conversations, service projects, and character-building activities, every child will experience the joy of belonging and learning from one another.
    To make the year even more exciting, every TK–5th grade class will be part of one of 11 Buddy Teams! Throughout the year, teams will work together to earn points by demonstrating school spirit and positive character across campus.

    Teams can earn points in various ways such as:

    • Clyde Paws
    • Golden Apples
    • Spirit Days
    • Rally Competitions
    • And other school-wide events!

    Points will be tracked throughout the week by our administration and office staff. Every Friday, we’ll announce the team with the highest point total during our school announcements. That team will proudly display the Golden Lion Trophy in their classroom for the following week before passing it along to the next winning team. More importantly than winning, this friendly competition encourages students of all ages to work together, celebrate one another, and demonstrate the values that make Bradshaw such a special place.
    We believe Bradshaw Buddies will strengthen our school community by building friendships across grade levels, developing leadership skills, fostering responsibility, and helping students live out Christ’s love through kindness, encouragement, and service.
