Nature’s Critters Live Presentation in the Preschool Dino’s Class

In January, while learning about hibernation, the Dino’s class had a special surprise! They got a chance to have a hands-on experience with animals. Lisa from Nature’s Critters, visited the class and made this live presentation unforgettable. The children learned about the animals’ habitats, eating habits, and how they defend themselves from predators. Nature’s Critters program is designed to help kids of all ages better understand and appreciate the world around them and respect for living creatures of all sizes and kinds. Preschool students were delighted as they got to pet a lizard, a snake, a chinchilla, and a giant hissing cockroach. In addition, they got to witness the giant tortoise walk around their classroom and have a snack.

The Dino’s teachers, Ms. Jelliah and Ms. Veronika are so grateful that their class was able to raise money for this event by making a raffle basket at our PTF Annual Gala (in November every year).

Thank you parents, BCS PTF, and Nature’s Critters for the fun visit!
