Elementary Seeing Some Changes for New School Year

We are excited about the start of our year and the changes that have already taken place.  Starting our first day of school on a Thursday provided our students and teachers the opportunity to get to know each other and press out some routines in those first two days.  Then, after resting over the weekend, everyone came back to campus on Monday ready for a full week of learning.  We are also excited to welcome new-to-BCS teachers Alyssa Glantz, John Walberg and Lynne Curtis.  If you wander out to our kindergarten playground and our small grass field and blacktop you will also see the addition of a small dome, soccer goals and more kitchen play equipment.  Our students are loving the new areas to play!

“Love is…” the theme for our elementary campus this 2019-2020 school year. With a focus on loving others, our elementary students will be participating in monthly k-5 chapels, outreach projects, and on-campus activities designed to help us all take a closer look at how we can love others, what that looks like in a practical way here at school, at home and around our community and world.
