Our philosophy statement says, "The Christian life is one where the individual's faith in God is integrated into all of life's experiences." We strive to take any and every opportunity to direct our students to experience God at work in their life. In addition to this, we make room in the week for students to connect with each other and with God during chapel.
Bible curriculum used in the elementary program is published by Positive Action and is chosen because it challenges those with training in Christian history and principals while being understandable for those newly introduced to God and His story. The primary bible curriculum in the classroom is the teacher. Our teachers view the bible being taught all day long taking advantage of the opportunities that come up daily to expose, exercise, and experience Godliness. The desired result of this instruction is for our students to know God deeply and live their unique life out from Him as a full member of His body.
All Bradshaw middle and high school students take a Bible course each year. These range from studying the life of Christ to exploring Christian living. The purpose of these classes is not to just bring greater understanding of scripture, but to provide environments where students can wrestle with real world issues and concerns and see how Jesus truly is the only solution for a battered and weary world. We also provide the opportunity to participate in our ministry classes in both middle and high school. This class is for believing students who desire to take the calling of Christ on their lives to a deeper more service oriented level.
