Summer Reading

All Bradshaw Christian students coming in to grades 7-12 are required to read a book over the summer and work on one or more projects related to the book.  Many of the assignments are substantial, so it is advised that students stay on top of their reading throughout the summer. Books are listed below by grade and project instructions are included in PDF format.

All grades below refer to incoming grade levels:

• 7th grade: Sign of the Beaver OR Tuck Everlasting. (Instructions)
• 8th grade: Tom Sawyer OR Anne of Green Gables. (Instructions)
• 9th grade: Ender's Game. (Instructions)
• 10th grade: Fahrenheit 451. (Instructions)
• 11th grade: Winesburg, Ohio. (Instructions)
• 12th grade: Frankenstein. (Instructions)

Note: These books are not given out by BCS.  They will need to be either purchased or borrowed. Books will be needed for the first few weeks of school for class assignments and discussion. ISBN numbers are given for the edition that will be used in class.  It is essential that these editions of the books are used, so that page references are consistent.
