Extracurricular Activities

Bradshaw Christian School is proud to offer many extracurricular activities and a variety of sports teams. All of these activities are a great avenue for international students to become fluent in English rapidly, to be involved in the community, and to make friends seamlessly. International students are highly encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities. We believe that participation in these areas will enhance the student’s overall experience as well as develop lifelong character traits in each individual.

Student Activities

Our school offers two activities for international students each month. One of the monthly activities is a “Fun” activity, and the other is a “Community Service” activity. Some of the activities include visiting local parks and attractions, traveling to nearby cities, watching local sports games, having parties and gatherings on campus, participating in American cultural events, and serving the community. The “Fun” activities allow the students to have a good time and relax while enjoying all that the diverse Sacramento area has to offer. The activities also help the students become engaged with the American culture, and gives them further opportunities to practice and improve their English and social skills. Furthermore, the “Community Service” activities are wonderful opportunities for our International students to grow. We believe that participation in community service helps students mature socially, behaviorally, and spiritually. Learning to serve and engage with the community will prepare and enrich students for a fruitful life beyond Bradshaw Christian School.
