BCS Wraps Up Another Exciting Jog-a-thon
The school year wouldn’t be complete without the entire school participating in the annual jog-a-thon fundraiser. By entire, we mean all campuses, preschool through high school, their faculty and awesomely supportive parents. It is the largest fundraiser of every year for the last 20 years, and not surprisingly this year, has already brought in over $127,000. The goal is $150,000 and will surely get close to that figure if not exceed it. Not only does the school benefit from the income, which helps keep tuition lower by the funds providing for needs of each program, it has become a well loved event by students and families alike. The support of our parent community is evident by their participation in reaching out to friends and family, letting them know that they can make a difference. It is also evident by the number of parents, grandparents, and family that come the day of, both to cheer and to help run the event. This year’s jog theme was “God’s Faithfulness” as we celebrated our 25th anniversary. Speaking as one of the founders of BCS, I want to thank everyone for YOUR gracious participation and thank GOD for his faithfulness to us!
